M31 - a new look

I decided to re-process my M31 mosaic data with PixInsight. The first image was created using SiriL and Photoshop, stitched with Image Composite Editor from Microsoft:

I was interested in learning how the mosaic functions perform in PixInsight. In addition, my new CUDA boosted Starnet++ was now fast enough to process this mosaic in an acceptable time.

Removing stars allows better adjustment of colors in nebulas and galaxies without caring about star masks. When removing stars with Starnett++, just remember to create a star mask which allows to blend nebula and stars again with PixelMath.

With some adjustment of saturation and luminosity, Asinh stretch, and wavelet transforms, the same image now looks much more colorful and detailed:
